West Point Green Wave drop 17-3 game to Kosciusko

The Green Wave lost to Kosciusko 17-3 on Thursday Night.
The score, however, is not a reflection of how the game was actually played.
West Point came out with a bounce in their step and were ready to compete. There were many controversial calls made by the umpiring crew throughout the game. Both coaches took their time having a conference over what seemed to be an obvious call. It appeared as though the decisions of the umpires took the Wave out of their game.
Head Coach Blake Hutchison was instructed by the crew not to leave the dugout anymore after a disagreement over a call in the third inning.
“I lost my cool too, but we should have used it as motivation,” said Hutchison. “You can’t let it affect your game and the way you play. I’m the first to blame because I lost my cool.”
