Motorcycle Clubs have changed a lot over the years. The groups now have serving the community in mind when hanging out and enjoying camaraderie.
"We're holding a fundraiser Saturday, Dec. 19," Willie "Bojo" Brooks, of the Sundance Riders, said. "Lisa Carter, who lives in Weir, had a house fire recently and we want to help her. It's a bad thing when you lose everything at Christmas."
The fundraiser is 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, at the Sundance Motorcycle Club at 366 Cotrell Street at Bikers Corner.
"Well be accepting donations for the Carter family," Mitchell "Lil' Mitch" Williams, said. "We'll have hot dogs and soda. The club will make a monetary donation itself, and whatever we can raise Saturday. Please wear a facial covering and social distance while here. The pandemic makes everything so much more difficult, even when trying to do something good for other people. We want to help this family, and we invite everyone to come and help us."
