Oak Hill loses on the road

The Oak Hill Academy Raiders had a difficult keeping up with Marshall Academy on Friday night.

Marshall Academy jumped out to a 32-7 lead in the second quarter and held on for a 58-39 win in the Class AAA-District 1 matchup.

The visiting Raiders were able to score 32 second-half points to match the 32 of Marshall Academy in the first half, but the home team was able to get 26 more points on the Oak Hill defense in the second half.

With their third-straight loss, the Raiders fell to 1-5 overall and they have an even district mark of 1-1.

Oak Hill hosts Rossville Christian of Tennessee next week.
