No. 7 national seed MSU hosts regional

After losing to both Florida and Tennessee by a combined score of 25-3 in just 15 innings at the Southeastern Conference Tournament, the NCAA committee still saw the Bulldogs as a top eight national seed. State came in on Sunday night as a regional host and then were confirmed as the No. 7 seed overall when the committee released the brackets on Monday.
