A 24-year-old Clay County man accused of breaking into a woman’s home on Lone Oak Road last October and choking her has been jailed again after being indicted on the charges.

Keith Branham Jr. was picked up late Thursday afternoon on the indictment for aggravated assault and burglary handed down in April by the Clay County Grand Jury.

A $30,000 bond was set on the charges.

He originally was arrested following the Oct. 2, 2017 incident and released on bond pending the case being presented to the Grand Jury.

In a victim’s impact statement, the woman said he wanted some prison time for the man if he is convicted but most of all, “I just want him to leave us alone,” she wrote.
