Let's decorate the tree

COVID-19 has everyone thinking outside the box this year. It has been decided that the kindergarten students will not be physically decorating the City Christmas Tree in Sally Kate Winters Park. All city parks are closed to the public at this time. But the Christmas Tree still needs to decorated.
"The guys with the Water and Light Department will place decorations on the tree," Lisa Klutts, director of the Growth Alliance, said. "But we can't have a couple of hundred children in the park at one time. So we are doing something a little different."
Children and adults are being given the task to create decoration at home. The project will take a few craft supplies and imagination. Any themed Christmas ornament is fine. Santa faces, reindeer with or without a red nose, anything that says Christmas. Even the scourge of the craft world, glitter, is perfectly fine.
