Hebron Christian falls at Kemper Academy

It was a competitive game for three quarters for the Hebron Christian Eagles, but the fourth quarter was not kind in a 54-18 loss at Kemper County.

“We played pretty good first half and were behind 14-12,” Hebron Christian coach David Foster said. “We had a couple of injuries. We got fatigued and the game got away from us in the fourth.”

The Eagles scored when quarterback Braeden Triplett tossed a 39-yard touchdown pass to Bradley Scott, while the other two scores came on runs of 5 and 1 yards by Elijah Parrish.

Parrish was also the leading tackler for Hebron with nine. Triplett, Kobe Cooper, Zach Corbin and Kenneth O’Brian contributed seven stops each.

The Eagles (1-4) return home next week to face West Memphis, Ark.
