Dugan Memorial Home invited the community to give the gift of love, to the residents of Dugan Memorial Home this year.
"The idea was with COVID-19, it has been a hard year on our residents," Carrie Whitlow,
Executive Director at Dugan, said. "They have been inside most of the time. We asked for some community support to spread some holiday cheer. This wonderful community answered the call."
The staff decided to have a Dugan Holiday Care Package Project. Tuesday, at 2 p.m. people were encouraged to drive by and drop off donations at the front.
The staff announced on Facebook what the residents needed and would like to have for Christmas. Most were small, easy to purchase items or for those who schedules didn't allow for shopping, monetary donations were greatly appreciated.
