Arrests made in West Point Dollar General robbery

Two men are charged with armed robbery after allegedly holding up the Dollar General on East Main Street earlier this month.
The West Point Police Department said in a press release that 20-year-old Jamarkus Jaquez Randle and 19-year-old Brentt Ahmad Cunningham were arrested on Wednesday and both charged.
They were released after bond was set at $50,000 each.
The robbery incident occurred on Feb. 15, with the two suspects entering from the east end of the building. One of the suspects pointed at a rifle at the cashier and demanded money, while the other forced another employee to the front of the store.
Police say the two fled the store after taking about $1,400 in cash.
The two men charged were expected to have their initial appearances in West Point Municipal Court on Friday.
