Scott Reed, owner of Petal Pushers is well-know as a talented and artistic decorator. In 2017, he was given the honor of being on the White House decorating team. He and other floral artists and decorators from around the county brought the ideas of First Lady Melania Trump to life.

Rainwater from the half mile ditch between Old Tibbee Road and Church Hill Road has been a problem with the rain water going to the Waste Water Treatment Facility. This water is not supposed to be funneled into the facility and cleaning out the ditch will remedy the issue.
The Clay County Board of Supervisors began its meeting with the resolution from the City of West Point requesting assistance with a request for the Tombigbee River Water Management District.
The Board of Supervisors are the only entity who can request help from the TRWM.
