During their first meeting as a new board, the West Point Board of Selectmen reappointed the City Board Attorney, City Clerk of the Board, City Judge, City Prosecutor, and selected the Vice Mayor.

The board unanimously accepted motions to reappoint Orlando Richmond as City Board Attorney, Deloris Doss as City Clerk of the Board, Benny Jones as City Judge and Michelle Easterling as City Prosecutor.

Ward 4 Selectman Keith McBrayer made a motion to reappoint Randy Jones as Chief Administrative Officer, but no one seconded the motion so the motion died. Mayor Robbie Robinson said the matter would be revisited at a later date.

The board unanimously accepted a motion by Ward 5 Selectman Jasper Pittman to appoint McBrayer as Vice Mayor. Robinson said the staff were reappointed annually.
