Hebron girls lose at State


SYLVA BAY – The Hebron Christian School girls basketball team saw their season come to an end on Tuesday night with a 71-35 loss to Greenville Christian at the Class 2A State Tournament.

Mattie Grace Parish led the Lady Eagles with 12 points, while Lindsey Daniels added eight points, Katelyn Hill had seven points, Amber Wedel contributed four points, and Julie Moore and Wah Carter had two points each.

“It’s been a great and exciting season,” Hebron girls coach Heather Parrish said. “I hated to see it end. We look forward to working hard this summer and being a stronger team next season.”

The Class 2A State tournament is being hosted by Sylva Bay Academy.
