West Point was in the Christmas spirit during the three day, Christmas Open House event.
The city crews had the Christmas flags displayed on Main Street and installed the wreaths on the lamp poles on Commerce Street. Christmas carols could be heard from city hall to impart the holiday spirit.
Many of the annual events in West Point have been postponed or are being replaced with something similar. Christmas Open House could be done, but, it needed to go in a different direction during the pandemic.
In order to follow CDC guidelines and to promote social distancing, Growth Alliance Director, Lisa Klutts asked area merchants how they felt about an extended Christmas Open House.
